Lovesick Domestic Tragedy in Oregon

Susan Pulard an 18 year old domestic in Gervais Oregon vanished a week ago. Her body was found under Parkeraville bridge two miles east of town. Coroner ruled death by own action due to unrewarded love after witnesses placed her at Parkersville and her hat cloak were found on a log. Parents reside in Clackamas County.

The United States composite screw gunboat Princeton was launched at Kaignan's point. Miss Margaret Updike christened the vessel with a wine bottle break. The Princeton, part of a six-boat class, costs about $230,000 excluding interior fittings and lighting.
