Mrs Hill was buried today in the family graveyard at Jamestown with a large county crowd in attendance.

In Albuquerque on June 9, six people were reported killed when Santa Fe passenger train No. 3 the California limited derailed near Domingo about 30 miles north of Albuquerque. A large number were injured in the wreck and authorities were assessing the scene.
In Macon Georgia on June 9 Tom Davis a mechanic killed his father George Davis by striking with a hatchet as the old man slept. George then drank carbolic acid and laudanum and died. The note to his wife claimed life offered nothing. Both bodies were found in the Thomaston road home. The two had not spoken in over a decade.
In Portland Oregon on June 9 the bodies of Hill, his wife and two children were found in their Ardenwald residence. Police report the woman and children were beaten to death with an axe while the husband was also found slain in the home.
