He was described as 4 feet 9 inches tall, about 145 pounds, with grey eyes and light hair.

Glenville, Sept. 6. George Alltop, 64, Cedarville farmer, held for grand jury on charge of fatally shooting Ulmont Childers, 19. Childers’ body found in a watermelon patch August 28. Thirty three witnesses testified. several said they talked with Alltop as he guarded the patch about a half hour before the shots. A gun found in the patch was identified as Alltop’s. He was held without bond in Gilmer County jail.
