SURG, Ky August 31. Veteran border lawman known as Bad John Wright lies dying in Wise County Virginia near Kentucky after a life of enforcement in the border counties. His son Rammed was killed yesterday in Pike County Kentucky, a feud era figure tied to the Hatfield-McCoy saga. NORWALK. Lillian Gish, screen actress, was treated by a physician at her mother’s summer home with severe wounds on her left hand from a dog. Mlle Gish arrived from New York after disembarking the steamer Paris.
