Gov. Jay Rockefeller approved 2.5 million dollars for 3 500 disadvantaged high school students and 300 college students in five counties for the 1977 78 school year. W.Va Man Killed in Louisiana Wreck Injures Others
A 30-year-old Red House West Virginia man Clarence Eugene Jones died in a crash on U S 61 near Port Hudson Louisiana. Four New Orleans residents also perished and two others were seriously hurt.
