One Escapee From Fayette Jail Held in Kanawha County
Raymond Lewis, one of seven fugitives from the Fayette county jail escape on September 23, was detained last night in Kanawha county jail after being arrested by state police. Lewis, sentenced to 18 years on two counts of slaying Deputy Sheriff John Communzi, was captured near Crickmer in Fayette county. Also named are Clarence Parsons and Frank Adkins, both charged with robbing a bus driver and passengers near Beckwith last December. Parsons awaits Adkins trial.
