Youth 17 Killed by Brother in Mississippi
In Cleveland Mississippi on November 24 a 17 year old named Alvin Adams was shot in his sleep by his 16 year old brother Eugene Adams with a .22 rifle. The body was moved to a Mississippi River levee and found there. County Attorney R E Jackson Jr said the younger brother confessed and was jailed on murder charges. A blanket matching others in the Adams home linked him to the crime. The mother and stepfather were en route to California when the shooting occurred. A sister was visiting an aunt.
