Pent Mutual Agency golf tournament draws many Philadelphians
May 28 White Sulphur Springs nearly a hundred players entered the medal play tournament of the Pent Mutual Agency association. Notables included Clydes Richardson West Goyer and Howard W. Merrin, president of the Philadelphia Golf Association. A large number of Philadelphians from clubs such as Mervin Cricket, Huntington Valley, Philadelphia Country, and Philadelphia Cricket competed. The afternoon putting contest awarded first prize to Mrs Wo a Batley of Philadelphia for a 25 for 20 holes.
