Casper Wyoming May 25—Wyoming becomes the fourth state to formally ratify repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment. Sixty five delegates at a state constitutional convention voted unanimously to ratify the repeal after earlier conventions. Rhode Island Michigan Wisconsin are the other states that completed verification. New Jersey and New York have voted for repeal but conventions not yet held.
