Schroeder was convicted with W Glenn Dague a former Wheeling automobile assessor whose jury recommendation also called for death.
Schenectady May 22. Dr W G Alexanderson outlined pilotless planes equipped with electrical eyes and radio controlled bombing devices. He demonstrated television driven images broadcast to a theater and discussed using television apparatus in airplanes to locate targets and guide flight, with potential for peace time aviation in fog or clouds.
M W Venable, 83, prominent Charleston engineer and businessman, dies at 1700 Virginia Street at 6 18 pm. He led the MW Venable Company and was president of several Charleston firms. Venable served in the Confederate Army and later built railroads bridges and water works in Southern West Virginia. He is survived by two wives and many children. funeral plans will be announced.
