Gov. Hulett Smith continues his government to the people series with a public session in Welch at the McDowell County Armory. Residents may speak to officials from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with no appointments required, and state projects including Wet W ants and crafts facilities will be showcased. Twelve Vista Volunteers to Aid Mingo County Poverty Fight

Triangle leader upsets council over lack of improvements
