Writs of error granted in Kermit teachers case
Writs of error were granted yesterday by the meme court in nine cases brought by Kermit District teachers against the Board of Education of Mingo County. Petitioners claimed they acted for all district taxpayers and sought to defend damages claims for breach of contract. The circuit court denied Cal Mer and Hawkine entry, which they cite as error.

Police report two suspects held following dawn arrest for clothing thefts at Jack's Toggery and other Capito street stores. Patrolman Burdetts traced suspects after Sunday night surveillance, arresting Robert Moren who confessed and pointed to Morria Crosby at Ferguson hotel. Clothing valued around $1000 recovered, partly from the Toewery and other shops. both suspects in custody awaiting further investigation.
