The 22 member bonus steering committee led by Wright Patman approved policies prioritizing immediate cash payment and readiness to seize legislative opportunities, with Patman arranging talks with Senator Elmer Thomas and other cash payment advocates. Germans Liable For Labor Service Decree Expands National Service

Walter O Malley, an ex convict, pled guilty to kidnapping banker August Luci on July 10, 1933. Circuit Judge Dick H Mudge sentenced him to life imprisonment, making him the seventh indicted to receive a sentence and the fourth to get life. O Malley had been a fugitive until captured with Percy Fitzgerald last May. State witnesses testified that Galler participated in the abduction and the banker was snatched from his home two years ago.
