Resort Motel Site Prep Begins at Mason Point Pleasant
Construction of a 150 unit Pleasant Point Resort Motel is slated to begin in spring two miles from Mason Point Pleasant WV. The project, costing about 1 624 500, will be financed by a 1 2 5 million loan from the U S Area Redevelopment Administration and 3957 000 in private capital. Albert Pick Hotels Corp of Chicago will operate the facility. The West Virginia Industries Development Corp built the nonpublicly licensed project and a state license renewal was rejected. The delay stems from high bid costs and stock-issuance restrictions.
