Snyder in Retirement to Keep Busy in Education
Walter F. Snyder will retire July 1 as Kanawha County schools superintendent and join Morris Harvey College as an assistant professor. He will also serve as a part time state consultant, setting up four to five workshops yearly for school superintendents with ESEA funds likely, and teach an introductory education course while overseeing student teaching. He has four decades in education as teacher, principal, and administrator.
