Appalachian Poor Gather in Washington for March protest

About 200 Tennessee and Appalachian poor representatives gathered in Washington on Tuesday to plan roles in the Poor People’s Campaign. The group, largely from Virginia and West Virginia, joined picketing at the Agriculture Department and supported other minority protests as they contemplate actions through the weekend.
