Husband and Wife Sue for $75,000 in Electric Shock Case
Two suits filed in Kanawha county common pleas by Mr and Mrs H M Dodd of Frame against Appalachian Electric Power Co of Charleston seek a total $75,000. Mrs Dodd a former schoolteacher claims a June 19 1835 electrical shock from a telephone caused nervous trouble and inability to teach. she seeks $60,000. Her husband requests $25,001 for medical and lost services. They allege insufficient precautions to keep high tension wires from contacting equipment.
