Weather favors crops in Kanawha County says agent
The present heat and humidity create ideal crop weather, Kanawha county farm agent T. H. McGovran said. He noted earlier complaints of too much rain with little sun or excessive sun with no rain have largely vanished with recent conditions. Strawberries are the sole crop not profiting, troubled by drought early on and rain delaying picking and reducing yields.
