Night golf in New York area tests players patience
Public links golfers in the New York metropolitan area endure long waits and nocturnal routines to tee off early. Some sleep in cars, others arrive midnight or Saturday night to secure spots at courses like Bethpage and Westchester, with floodlight discussions and maintenance breaks shaping a unique weekend ritual. Local golfers claim the drive, stamina, and devotion are part of the game’s allure.
