A Swallow biplane owned by Ohio Valley Aircraft crashed while landing near South Ruffner yesterday around 6:30 pm. Pilot Jey Sadowsky of Wichita Kansas and passenger Harold Moore were uninjured. The craft landed upright but sustained gear, propeller, and lower wing damage. Sadowsky arrived in Charleston with a new plane, reportedly offered to Mr Moore. Witnesses say the motor failure occurred at about four hundred feet.
