State High Court to Review Two Case Decisions
The West Virginia Supreme Court agreed to revisit two previous rulings. One restores the Carroll Hardwood Lumber Co. right to pursue $2,531.42 against the estate of a man who died in 1927. Additional actions included appeals in murder cases from Mingo and McDowell counties, a damages dispute in Cabell County, a Kanawha County injury award review, and a sheriff candidate eligibility matter in Preston County.
