Recruitment Ratings For Construction Unit Training
New recruits will receive ratings based on training and civilian experience in construction. Selection boards are set up in Charleston Huntington Wheeling Parkersburg and Morgantown to assist applicants. Lt Cmdr Eugene Ripley USNR says veterans won’t be called to active duty without consent but may be in a national emergency. Members will be on inactive pay status and time on inactive status counts toward longevity. If called, they retain their previous rating.
