Firefighters battled a large forest blaze in Randolph County Elkins to divide the flames into three sections. Over 200 men and boys fought the fire as about 2000 acres of undergrowth and cutover timber burned, threatening Wildell Knob hardwoods and the Mondagahels National Forest.
