Two Mingo Cases Reversed by Court
The West Virginia Supreme Court reversed two Mingo county cases yesterday while other decisions affirmed lower court rulings. In one, Thacker Coal Co. v Waugh, a verdict of 108.75 was upheld after the lower court set it aside and Waugh appealed. In the other, Johnson v Inter-Ocean Company, concerning changes in a group accident policy, the appellate court ordered a new trial to determine if Johnson had been notified.
