Police Seek Barriers to Kanawha City Bridge Catwalk

Bus with handicapped passengers crashes in Utah
A bus carrying handicapped adults and instructors lost its brakes, collided with three cars, and tipped against a barrier in Bingham Canyon Utah. Police said all aboard were injured in the Monday incident.

Moore outlines state finance and highway funding plans
Governor Moore said state law limits the number of large banks handling public funds and favored total computerization to distribute money fairly. D. E. Bradley Named Sunrise Curator of Children’s Museum
Douglas E. Bradley of Tipp City Ohio has been named curator, replacing Jane Glaser who left for a Smithsonian position. Bradley, a Notre Dame and Michigan alum, formerly worked at Henry Ford Museum and Evanston Historical Society. He started July 16 and plans to expand exhibits and programs while shaping the museum’s active mission. The museum received a $2000 NEA grant for the Appalachian Corridors Exhibit and over $9,000 from the Arts and Humanities Council of West Virginia plus a $1800 council grant for a feasibility study.
