De Paul University law student Joseph Ziemba died from gunshot wounds after a confrontation with three bandits who robbed him of 7 000 dollars. Ziemba, 25, was wounded five times outside his father’s tavern while returning from a bank with 87 000 dollars intended for workers’ checks. He fired two shots. one assailant died at the scene and another, Joseph Gorniak, 43, an ex convict, was later found nearby.
