James face assault drunkenness and illegal liquor possession. Deputy Lucian Fry said a half pint of whisky was found in James car and the car may be confiscated. The pair allegedly damaged a hydrant after ramming the filling station. They were released on 3000 bonds each after a preliminary hearing and later again released on liquor possession charges by U S Commissioner Thomas H Scott.
