Baby Scalded to Death in Porch Tub Tragedy Name Fronts
Special to The Gazette Mitro February 23 William Robert Fronts two died after hot water scalding in a tub on the front porch. Sheriff A M Harmon Putnam County said the child pushed a screen door from the kitchen to the tub and fell in. He was rushed to Mountain State hospital where he died at 4 30 pm. Dr A W Adlinnon Mitro attended. The infant was taken to Bartlett Brothers funeral parlors in St Albans. Burial planned Wednesday at two o’clock at Heine cemetery on the Fox River. The infant survived by mother Mayael Froats.

Tyler Prazier aged 92 the oldest member of Holstons conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church south died at his home in Chilhowie area He was a pioneer circuit rider in Virginia West Virginia and Tennessee and known as the grand old man of the conference He served as a Civil War chaplain and helped form the first Young Men's Christian Association south of the Mason Dixon line in 1883 He retired in October 1919 after more than 80 pastorates or circuits in the conference.
