Jefferson Ohio February 16 14 a missing three year old Rita Margaret Lent was found dead in a muddy country lane about a mile and a half from her home. The body was fully clothed and showed no obvious violence but an autopsy was ordered to determine cause of death. The mother Olive Lent 34 said the child was kidnapped and led investigators to the search. Everett Gosnell 16 discovered the body while walking to a wood cutting camp and alerted farmer Car Hall and authorities including Sheriff Jerry Benson Coroner Chucks Weston and Prosecutor Ward Cross. The body was found fourteen miles southeast of Jefferson near the Pennsylvania line.
