The first Fokker Aircraft built at Glendale made its maiden flight today. Test pilot Captain Grissom B. Haynes said the big monoplane performed well, staying aloft about a half hour and reaching 4,000 feet.
Aired Fleming of the National Fire Waste council is invited to address the Charleston Rotary club on March 29 under the fire underwriters division of the Charleston chamber of commerce. The Huntington chamber of commerce also invited him to speak that evening.
