Airliner Plunges Into House Killing 32 in Canary Islands
A Spantax DC3 charter plane carrying Scandinavian tourists crashed during a windy rainstorm near Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Thirty two aboard died and two house occupants were gravely injured. The crew of four and 28 passengers were mainly Swedes Danes and Norwegians.
