Mid-Winter Clinic Brings Dental Talks to Kanawha Valley
The Kanawha Valley Dental Society continued its Mid-Winter Clinic at the Daniel Boone Hotel with four speakers. Dr. Hamilton B. G. Robinson of the University of Kansas City addressed the morning session, known for his extensive scholarly work. Ernest Jokl of Kentucky discussed physiology and sport, and Dr. George Callender, a Charleston orthopedic surgeon, spoke on dental problems with practical exercises following a demonstration. In Brazil, heat topped 100 degrees as Rio de Janeiro endured a fourth day of extreme heat, causing dehydration and hospital visits.
