CAPE TOWN South Africa Hospital tests Tuesday showed the heart transplanted to Louis Washkansky is functioning well according to the surgeon who performed the historic operation. The 35 year old Cape Town businessman had his first solid food since the operation three days ago, having a soft boiled egg for breakfast and expressing hunger.
