Two Killed in Quaker Rocks Prison Island Quake
Mazatlan Mexico December 4 Two men were killed and many hurt by earth tremors on Maria Madre prison island thirty miles offshore. The main quake struck at 5 24 p m with aftershocks through the night. Nearly every building on the island was damaged or destroyed while a prison director said two died and many injured lightly. Help arrived by boat and military planes after a radio station collapsed killing the operator.

Rioters Kill Cairo Police Amid Cairo Unrest
