Martinsburg Driver Freed in Fatal Truck Crash
Martinsburg man Harry M Silling died after a truck struck him on E Washington Street. Witnesses said the driver 29 year old Harry H Clark braked as the collision occurred. Clark described hearing screams as bystanders pulled to avoid traffic and found Silling between the front and rear wheels. Silling's survivors include wife Catherine Connell Silling a daughter Mrs Paul M King of Charleston two grandchildren a sister Mrs Philip Coners. The service will be held Friday at First Presbyterian with burial in Mt View Cemetery under Barrow-Johnson Funeral direction.
