Brown to retire as U S Attorney in West Virginia
Judge Thomas A. Brown of Far keraburg, U S attorney for the northern district of West Virginia, will retire in November. In an interview with the Parkersburg News he said the job is brutal and like a police court, noting health issues and a desire to leave duties that have grown harsher under Prohibition era cases. He recalled nearly four years in office and suggested he may seek another term in some capacity, but welcomed the relief from the exact duties of the court.
