Wabash Indiana authorities recovered the unclad bodies of John Fielding Wesley Viale Wesley and their 12 year old daughter Marjorie from a pit under a barn. Harry Singer 25 ex convict farm hand confessed after hours of questioning to murdering the Wesleys and their daughter claiming they mistreated him. He said he shot Mrs Wesley milking and beat the girl to death with a shotgun barrel then killed Wesley as he stood at a window. He buried the bodies in a five foot pit beneath the barn floor.

Two Injured in Crash of 14 Passenger Plane
A 14 passenger plane crashed today injuring two men severely. The injured are Charles Geh rin of Columbus the pilot and John Dexter of Wheeling a passenger. Witnesses said the plane tumbled over while landing at a new airfield and plunged down a 100 foot embankment. The plane had been purchased by Erwin Saltsgaber of Columbus who remained on the grounds during the crash and estimated the plane’s age at 12 000 dollars.

MILTON Fla Aug 7 Mrs Wann 40 year old grandmother received without emotion today the verdict of a six man jury convicting her of conspiracy to wreck a train piloted by her engineer husband The jurors stayed up all night deliberating a decision in the care of the woman charged specifically with being an accessory before the fact in a conspiracy to commit murder Mrs Vann and two Negroes who pleaded guilty previously to a part in the plot face prison terms of from one to 40 years After the court set August 31 for a hearing on a motion for a new trial and continued her 3000 bail Mrs Vann left with her husband for home Vann who provided the bond for his wife when she was arrested last April declined comment The state accused her of planning with Earl Travis to kill her husband collect his life insurance and marry Travis also charged with conspiracy to kill the husband He was granted a separate trial The two Negroes Allen Langston and Allen Finley pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to wreck Vann's Louisville and Nashville passenger train but have not been sentenced Langston a 70 year old voodoo doctor testified Mrs Vann and Travis frequently visited his shack and played at bugging and klada and were persistent to wreck the train ending with details about the plan
