New Hours Set At Post Office Eleanor Post Office

New hours announced for Eleanor Post Office with postmaster Mrs. Ben Duncan reporting. Daily hours 9 to noon and 1 to 5 Mondays through Bri tonaourdays, no mail service during revival. Evangelists Paul Ar do so by placing mail in the bar and John Farley box outside the post office, truck carrier to pick up at 5 p.m. Construction progresses on St. Timothy in the Valley Episcopal Church near Hurricane with rector Rev. Birk Stathers overseeing services.

Five Slightly Hurt in City Car Collision

Five people were injured when the car carrying Shirley Trail 26 Geraldine Hebbard 23 and Sammy William Williams 5 along with Gary 5 and Gregory 3 collided with another vehicle at 36th Street and MacCorkle Avenue Kanawha City. After impersonation surfaced, Dyer probed for a genuine Dr Menendez. He found a 1964 Havans graduate listed as in good standing with a Cuban refugee doctors group in Coral Gables. Fall of Tree Fatal to Man in Whitesville

Charles West a 38 year old Whitesville resident was killed when a tree he was cutting toppled and trapped him. He worked at Compton Sawmill Co. and died after an ambulance crew found him with a broken neck. The body was taken to Caltey Funeral Home.

Five Killed In Family Tragedy At Shepherdstown

Freeland reports that five members of the Senciadiver family died in a incident near Shepherdstown. Lou Ann Senciadiver, 10, survived with non serious injuries. Jnr. Preety Senciadiver and Carrell D. Stanley, 46, are named among the deceased.

Civil rights demonstrations erupted at the fair as 26 protesters were arrested amid police in riot gear.
