Alfred Molesworth was born January 26 1828 in Deersville Harrison county Ohio and died February 10 1905 at age 77 in Belinda Iowa after moving from Lucas county four years earlier. He married Mary Jane Higer March 22 1855 and left four daughters and two sons. four daughters and one son preceded him. A Methodist member and community helper, he helped build Pleasant township and the county. The obituary laments a kind hospitable neighbor and faithful Christian.
