Two Women Injured In Traffic Crash

Drop in Traffic Toll Expected for 1958
The National Safety Council estimates 1958 highway deaths may be 2,000 below 1957 and the lowest since 1954 if the year ends with the same improvement rate. Through August there were 22,880 highway fatalities, 6 percent under the prior year, a saving of 1,560 lives. The projected 36,500 would equal the 1954 low.
