Fire damages Blair Trailer Plant near Erie
A morning blaze at the Blair Trailer Plant four miles west of US 59 on Highway K47 southwest of Erie destroyed the painting and finishing building. Three trailers inside and large inventories of paint were lost. No ignition cause is known. The plant employs about 25 and has produced 280 trailers this year. production to resume next week with a new building ordered.

Social Security ceiling raised to three thousand under welfare bill
