Isom was treated by a physician and cited for reckless driving Ray Lee Howell age 15 a passenger was uninjured.

Kansas could gain miles of interstate routes as toll roads and bridges from state systems are added under a bill introduced by 3rd District Rep Myron V. George. The measure, an amendment to the 1956 highway act, would authorize addition of equivalent mileage to the interstate for toll routes.
