Lewis Home A Landmark in Sauk Centre
The boyhood home of Sinclair Lewis was dedicated as a national landmark in Sauk Centre Minnesota. The town, nicknamed Main Streeter for its theater and park honoring Lewis, expects increased visiting with the designation and notes many locals have not read Main Street. Mayor Allan Polipnick, who also serves as postmaster, says few residents have read Lewis’s works.
