Stage manager Rick Lester and 100 young performers work mid-April to October at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City. About 1,500 nightly audiences enjoy 35-minute song and dance shows with up to five costume changes. Casts come from multiple states, many amateurs, drawn by limited pay but camaraderie and stage experience.
