Mrs Kinne Forfeits Bond of $25 000
Kansas City AP. A $25 000 bond posted for Mrs Sharon Kinne to appear at her fourth trial in the slaying of her husband was forfeited by Circuit Court Judge Paul E Carver. Kinne, 24, of Independence Missouri, is held in Mexico City in connection with the Sept 18 slaying of Francisco Parades Ordonez. She claims self defense after accompanying him to a motel. The bond forfeiture followed her absence in court as the defense said she was not present. The bond had been set by the Missouri Supreme Court after it overturned a life sentence from her first trial. Her second trial ended in a mistrial and her third in a hung jury.

The three story Girard High School burned early Sunday with flames reaching 100 feet. Superintendent Ted Taylor cited insurance of 400000 on the building and 70000 on contents.
