Car Overturns Injuring Shaw Driver on Highway 39
Boyd Myers, 55 year old Shaw resident, was injured when his car overturned on highway K39 east of Chanute Saturday night. He was reported in satisfactory condition at Neosho Memorial Hospital with a severe concussion a fracture to the right arm and possible internal injuries. The accident occurred about 7 o clock seven miles east of Chanute. Sheriff Jerry Sloan said Myers’ car ran off the shoulder flipped on its top and skidded into a ravine end over end as he attempted to regain control.
