Three Injured in Chanute Area Motor Car Tractor Crash
Three people were hospitalized at Neosho Memorial for injuries from a motor car tractor collision southwest of Chanute last evening. Raymond C. Myers and wife, a 53 year old doctor and 48 year old woman, suffered knee and head injuries while Aaron Kepley, 61, sustained head and facial lacerations and other abrasions. Undersheriff John Phelps and Police Chief Tom Morehead investigated the scene, which occurred about 7 p.m. near Chanute. the car struck a tractor wheel axle, spun the tractor and caused the crash. Cheryl Ann Myers, 9, was a passenger and uninjured.
