Jim Hutton 26 son of Mrs. Martha Hutton Chanute and the late James B. Hutton died in a Denver car crash when his vehicle left the road and struck a parked car. A man in the parked car, Charles L. Cow Injures, Car Damaged Near South Mound Sunday
A 1959 International pickup driven by Kenneth L. Allen struck a white face cow on a county road southeast of South Mound at about 11 45 am. The cow, about 900 pounds, was crippled and valued at 125 by owner Bob O'Brien. Sheriff Jerry Sloan investigated. A 1958 Chevrolet owned by Gerald Garrison of Thayer had left front damage Saturday night in front of his home.
