Christmas Seal campaign kicks off in Neosho County

The 59th annual Christmas Seal Campaign to fight tuberculosis starts with mailings to about 4 500 area residents by the Neosho County Tuberculosis and Health Association. Chairman Mrs Bruce Burris notes this is the county chapter’s only fund raising, with 93 percent of Seals funds staying in Kansas and Neosho County for testing X rays clinics nursing and education.

New Feeder Line For Gas Supply

A quarter mile of new 8 inch feeder gas line was installed at the southwest edge of town feeding from Cities Service to the city distribution system. Mild Kansas temperatures rise with warm front passage

Temperatures climbed today across Kansas as a warm front moved north. Highs reached the 60s with night lows in the 40s to 50s.
