Two Die in Meade Highway Crash in Kansas
Two persons died and two were seriously injured in a collision on US 54 east of Meade Kansas. Calvin Dornberger 53 and his wife Evelyn 50 of Lincoln Nebraska were killed. Injured were Francis L Perkins and wife of Spearman Texas with Mrs Perkins listed in critical condition. Sheriff Arlie Johnston said the Dornbergers were en route to Carlsbad New Mexico to visit Mrs Dornberger's ill mother.
